View online webcam live view in a web browser like IP camera

PhenoCapture can serve as a webcam server. You can watch real-time webcam view in a web browser.

Turn webcam into an IP camera!

1. First of all, connect to a webcam.

2. Secondly, set up 'Online live view web service'

    Click on the 'Online live view web service'  under the Tool menu

    Click on the 'Start' button to start the server

3. Click on the 'Launch web browser' button

    If internet speed is good, you will have a frame rate of 10 images/second

To view webcam images from external devices, you have to set up 'port forwarding' which gives you an external IP address if you use a router.
